Very short post today because we are wild camping in the woods and need to conserve battery.
We left Forchheim late to catch a grocery store knowing we might be camping tonight.
Mostly farmland today but we did visit two small chapels and got a Jakobsweg stamp.
The campground we’d chosen was pretty suspicious (it has a dead phone number and its name was different on Google, Mapy, and Gaia (our main sources). So we weren’t surprised when we arrived and found it abandoned.
So we opted for a night of stealth camping which is technically not allowed but we are discrete and well hidden in the woods off the trail.

Tomorrow we enter Nuremberg (aka Nürnberg).

it’s pretty tricky trying to guess who is who on this site as most people are assigned a random name!
Some days are easier than others for sure. Today was a “short” 20 km day to Nuremberg.
Miss seeing all my NDC family. Say hi to everyone!!! That should keep you busy!
