Along the way we will pass History and Legend

One thing I love about Europe is that nearly every town has a story. Sometimes these are mundane historical facts (e.g. the battle of XYZ was fought here). However more often than not, there is a local legend or historical quirck that lies hidden on a random placque in town.

We’ve tried to collect some of these stories in a GoogleDoc before our departure and we will continue to add to these as we travel along. You can already find several chapters within the document.
