Short post today because we are at a campsite with no wifi.
We had a long day planned so we left early into a cool 40deg morning.
We continued to climb through the day which was a little bit of a surprise since we were told (not for the first time) that it’s all downhill from here to the Swiss border. In fact the 18mi day only added 1000ft of elevation but it certainly felt like more.
We met several wonderful people today including Michael and Birgette. Michael is a pilgrim as well (and a Pilgrim Guide) and he gave us some fresh tomato’s and a pepper for our journey. He received an arrow for his kindness and as a token from a fellow pilgrim. They were a wonderful fresh addition to our lunch.

We also passed through Giengen an der Brenz (Origin of the Teddy Bear).
At our camping destination we met a lovely young family of two kids that shared an hour with us.
Cornelius and Jana and their two youngsters Emilia and Elias entertained us as we had a drink and waited for the sun to go down a bit before setting up our tents.
That’s all for today I’m afraid. Having no wifi is very limiting for a VLOG I’m afraid. Pray for us tomorrow. We again have no where to stay. But I’m sure God has prepared a place for us already.
